2013 Chevrolet Spark Safety Before Covington Cars

Here at Art Gamblin Motors, your Covington Car Dealer, we understand that great safety in a vehicle involves much more than just what happens during a collision. And the 2013 Chevrolet Spark embodies this approach to safety very well. Although Spark is a small efficient car, it’s very big on safety. The Spark was designed with a full array of class-leading safety and security features. It delivers comprehensive safety before, during and after a collision. In order to provide excellent safety before an accident ever happens, The Spark features the following:

Standard 4-wheel Antilock Brakes

Provide confident stopping ability.

Brake Assist

Brake Assist senses emergency braking by detecting the speed or force the driver applies to the brake pedal and boosts the power as needed. Under certain conditions, the Brake Assist may activate the ABS more quickly and easily than vehicles without the feature.

Standard Electronic Brake force Distribution

Balances braking forces across all four wheels for outstanding stopping performance and more even brake wear.

Traction Control

All Spark models feature a standard Traction Control system that limits wheel spin when one or both of the drive wheels begin to lose traction. When this happens, the system brakes the spinning wheel(s) and/or reduces power to limit wheel spin.

StabiliTrak Electronic stability Control Sys tem

StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System uses a yaw sensor, lateral accelerometer and steering angle sensor to continually monitor the driver’s steering input and the vehicle’s actual course. If the vehicle does not respond properly, StabiliTrak automatically engages the appropriate braking and traction controls to help the driver get back on the intended course.

Standard Daytime Running Lamps

Automatically illuminate to help make the vehicle more visible to other drivers and pedestrians.

Tire Pressure Monitor

The Tire Pressure Monitor system transmits tire pressure readings from each tire to the Driver Information Center (DIC) so the driver can take action to ensure all tires are properly inflated. A  raphic on the DIC shows real-time PSI values.

OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics

Every month it automatically sends you an email with the results of hundreds of checks of your  engine, transmission, antilock brakes and more.

2013 Chevrolet Spark Reliability Auburn Cars

Here at Art Gamblin Motors, your Auburn Car Dealer, we are excited to offer the all new 2013 Chevrolet Spark. The Spark offers extreme value, quality, reliability and durability. The Spark is based on an all-new front-wheel drive architecture that incorporates a series of structural enhancements, acoustical refinements, purposeful technologies and attention to detail to deliver consistent quality and appeal.

Ride Quality

The Spark has been designed with applications to reduce vibration and contribute to impressive wind noise performance. The Spar’s stiff structure combined with acoustical applications makes it easier to negate powertrain, road and wind noise to create a smooth and comfortable ride experience. The following details some of the design elements that contribute to the Sparks smooth, quiet and enjoyable drive experience.

• Body Frame Integral (BFI) structure enables a more mass efficient and stiffer structure.

• Incorporation of thicker window glass.

• Front of dash mats reduce noise transfer.

• Multiple air/noise barrier applications in the floor, instrument panel and inner body panels.

• Overall torsional stiffness is among the best in the Mini Car segment.

• A 4-point mounted engine cradle–a segment rarity–contributes to outstanding body stiffness.

• Robustly designed chassis-to-body structure interfaces, i.e. suspension brackets or cradle attachments, designed to ensure stiffness at those points. The result is excellent isolation and durability.

• Single-piece body side stampings provide a stiffer, more rigid side structure.

• An acoustic headliner includes a 3-layer polyethylene/felt substrate for superior sound isolation.

• Extensive sealing including dual door seals.

• Tuned air intake and tuned exhaust.

• Additional spot welding enhances long-term rigidity and durability.

• Gap and flush relationships are among the best-in-class.

• Engine features deep-skirt cylinder bloc

Built-in Durability

Spark’s built-in durability includes these features:

• 1.2L engine features a timing chain that never requires any scheduled maintenance.

• Long-life spark plugs contribute to a 100,000-mile tune-up interval.

• Transmissions are filled for life and do not require fluid changes for normal driving conditions.

• Coil-on-plug ignition system eliminates spark plug wires for greater reliability and lower maintenance costs.

• An Oil Life Monitor alerts the driver to the need for an oil change before oil becomes degraded.

• Electronic Power Steering system does not require any fluid checks or top-offs.

• OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics provide automatic email updates with the results of hundreds of checks on engine, transmission, antilock brakes and more.

Warranty Coverage

Chevrolet continues to provide excellent warranty coverage and peace of mind the competition can’t match. Chevrolet’s premium warranty protection includes:

• 3-year/36,000-mile comprehensive warranty coverage.

• 5-year/100,000-mile transferable limited powertrain warranty.

2012 Dodge Charger vs 2012 Chevrolet Impala

2012 Chevrolet Impala vs Dodge Charger

Here at your Bonney Lake Chevrolet Dealer we have noticed that the Charger has been attempting to compete with the Chevy Impala. Sad to say, it has failed in its attempts. The Dodge Charger just can’t compete with the Impala on any level. The Impala has greater power, performance, handling, safety and functionality. Below is a short sampling of some of the ways in which the Chevrolet Impala outperforms the Dodge Charger:

Safety: For increased safety, The Impala’s standard pretensioning seatbelts sense rear collisions and tighten the front seatbelts accordingly to protect passengers from injuries including whiplash. The Charger doesn’t offer a whiplash protection system. The front shoulder belts of the Chevrolet Impala are height-adjustable, and the rear seats have child car seat anchors. The Dodge Charger has only front height-adjustable seat belts and child safety anchors. In order to stay visible at all times, the Impala has daytime running lights. Once again, The Charger does not offer this.

We all get into sticky situations from time to time. The New 2012 Chevy Impala offers OnStar, which uses GPS and cellular systems to remotely unlock your doors if you lock your keys in, track down your vehicle if it’s stolen and even send emergency personnel to the scene if there is a collision. Nothing comparable to OnStar comes on the dodge Charger, meaning help may not come as fast as it would with the Impala.

Warranty: Chevrolet’s powertrain warranty comes with free roadside assistance a feature not available with the Charger’s warranty. The Impala’s corrosion warranty is also 1 year longer than the Charger’s. Furthermore, there are over 40% more Chevrolet dealers than Dodge dealers, which means that it’s much easier to get your Impala serviced under warranty than it is to get a Charger serviced.

Engine: The Impala’s 3.6L DOHC V6 produces 8 more horsepower than the Charger’s standard engine. At the same time, the Impala’s engine is also more efficient than the Charger’ engine.

Interior: The Impala offers optional seating for up to six passengers while the Charger can only carry a maximum of five passengers. The Impala also has more passenger volume than the Charger allowing for a more comfortable ride for everyone in the car. The Impala also offers a much more trunk space than the Charger with more than 3 cubic feet of extra storage capacity.

There is a very good reason that the Chevy Impala has outsold the dodge Charger by nearly three to one. At Art Gamblin Motors, we know that the Chevy Impala simply destroys the Dodge Charger and every other car in its segment. So come give the new Chevrolet Impala a test drive with us here in Enumclaw Washington and experience the Impala’s high level of power, performance and efficiency for yourself. You will surely appreciate our welcoming pressure-free environment staffed by friendly expert sales associates. Most importantly though, we have been family owned and operated for over 40 years, which is why we have always treated all our customers as family. Come and see why Art Gamblin Motors is a superior place to buy a vehicle, and you will understand why we are the top rated Chevrolet dealer in the state!

2012 Dodge Ram 1500 vs 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche

2012 Chevrolet Avalanche vs Dodge Ram 1500

At Art Gamblin, your Puget Sound Chevrolet dealer, Motors we recognize that the Chevy Avalanche is a segment defining vehicle that is unsurpassed in its utility, versatility and performance in its segment. To be frank, the Ram 1500 just plain can’t compete with the Avalanche in any scenario. The Avalanche has greater power, performance, handling, safety and functionality. Below is a short sampling of some of the ways, in which the Chevrolet Avalanche makes the Ram 1500 look like an antique:

Safety: For increased safety, the front shoulder belts of the Chevrolet Avalanche are height-adjustable, and the rear seats have child car seat anchors. The Ram 1500 has only front height-adjustable seat belts and child safety anchors. At Chevrolet we recognize how the safety features play such a large role in your choice of vehicle. The Avalanche’s standard pretensioning seatbelts sense rear collisions and tighten the front seatbelts accordingly to protect passengers from injuries including whiplash. The 1500 doesn’t offer a whiplash protection system.

The Avalanche also has standard daytime running lamps that increase its visibility to other drivers. The Ram 1500 doesn’t have daytime running lights. The Avalanche also has OnStaravailable, which uses GPS and cellular systems to remotely unlock your doors if you lock your keys in, track down your vehicle if it’s stolen and even send emergency personnel to the scene if there is a collision. The Ram 1500 doesn’t offer anything comparable to OnStar. And these are just a few of the ways in which the Avalanche is superior to the Ram in safety.

Warranty: There are over 40 percent more Chevrolet dealers than there are Ram dealers—making it much easier to get service under the Avalanche’s Chevrolet warranty.

Power and Performance: The Avalanche’s Vortec 5.3L V8 engine produces 105 more horsepower Ram 1500’s standard 3.7L V6! With a minimum tow capacity that is 1,550 pounds higher than the Ram’s, it hails in comparison to the Avalanche! The Avalanche’s Vortec engine is also equipped with FlexFuel which allows it to run on emissions reducing E85 fuel. Active Fuel Management is also standard. Both the sequential fuel injection system and the Active fuel management system allow the Avalanche to achieve excellent fuel economy and efficiency. The Ram 1500 offers nothing comparable to these features. Moreover, the Avalanche has 5.5 more gallons of fuel capacity than the standard Ram 1500. This allows the Avalanche a greater maximum driving range than the 1500.

The Avalanche has an automatic transmission that offers manual control with tap-up tap-down shifting. This means that drivers get the convenience of an automatic transmission, while also have the control of a manual transmission without worrying about a clutch—giving you the best of both worlds and strengthening your driving experience! The Ram fails to offer a transmission that allows driver control of the gears. Ultimately, the Avalanche simply offers more power, performance, efficiency and utility standard than the Ram 1500.

Suspension and Handling: The front and rear suspension of the Avalanche use coil springs for a smoother ride, more responsive handling and precise control than the 1500, which uses inferior leaf springs in the rear. The Avalanche also has an available driver controlled suspension system. The 1500’s suspension doesn’t offer any kind of driver adjustable shock absorbers. For superior handling the track on the Avalanche is wider than the 1500’s. The Avalanche’s engine vibration is almost nonexistent in the cab because it has liquid-filled engine mounts. The 1500 still uses inferior conventional solid rubber engine mounts. The Avalanche offers car-like ride and handling, while the Ram has unresponsive control and an all around rough ride.

At Art Gamblin Motors, we know that the Chevy Avalanche simply dominates over the Ram 1500. So we invite you to come test drive a new Chevrolet Avalanche with us here in Enumclaw Washington and experience the Avalanche’s high level of power and performance for yourself. You will surely appreciate our welcoming pressure-free environment staffed by friendly expert sales associates. Most importantly though, we have been family owned and operated for over 40 years, which is why we have always treated all our customers as family. Come and see why Art Gamblin Motors is a superior place to buy a vehicle, and you will understand why we are the top online rated Chevrolet dealer in the state!

2012 Ford F-Super Duty vs 2012 Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty

Silverado HD vs Ford F-350 Superduty

we are aware that we sell nothing less than the best heavy duty trucks on the market here at Chevrolet Sumner, hands down. Though ford continues to try and compete with Chevy, they fail time and time again. The Ford F-Super Duty vs. the Silverado HD is the perfect example.  The Silverado HD has greater power, performance, handling, safety and functionality. Below is simply a brief sampling of some of the ways the Chevrolet Silverado HD dominates the Ford F-Super Duty:

Safety: For additional protection, the front shoulder belts of the Chevrolet Silverado HD are height-adjustable, and the rear seats have child car seat anchors. The Ford F-Super Duty has only front height-adjustable seat belts and child safety anchors. The Silverado HD’s standard pretensioning seatbelts sense rear collisions and tighten the front seatbelts as to protect passengers from injuries including whiplash. The F-Super Duty doesn’t offer a whiplash protection system. The Chevrolet Silverado HD has Daytime Running Lights that keep it visible under all conditions. The F-Super Duty decided not to offer Daytime Running Lights. These are just a few of the superior safety features in the Silverado HD that the Super Duty fails to provide.

Warranty: Chevrolet’s powertrain warranty covers the Silverado HD 40,000 miles longer than Ford covers the F-Super Duty! The Silverado HD’s corrosion warranty is also one year longer than the F-Super Duty’s. Clearly Chevrolet is more confident in the quality and durability of the Silverado HD than Ford is of its F-Super Duty.

Fuel Economy and Range The Silverado HD has 10 gallons more fuel capacity than the F-Super Duty Diesel Short Bed’s standard fuel tank! The Chevrolet Silverado HD also has much higher fuel economy compared to the Ford Super Duty. The combination of a much bigger gas tank and better fuel efficiency allows the Silverado to out work the Super Duty for much longer, while the Ford requires more frequent stops to refuel.

Drivetrain: The Silverado HD has a authentic four-wheel drive system, which uses a four-wheel traction control system to direct engine power to the specific axle and wheel that has traction. This will keep your Silverado HD keep up and running—even if only one wheel has traction! The F-Super Duty doesn’t have real four-wheel drive. The Ford can effortlessly get stuck, despite having one or more wheels with traction. The Silverado HD also has a great deal more standard payload capacity than the F-Super Duty. The Crew Cab Silverado HD 3500 4×4 has a payload capacity of 4,190 pounds compared to the Ford Super Duty’s greatly reduced 3,260 pounds of payload capacity! That means the Silverado HD can get work done that the Super Duty just can’t handle.

Suspension and Handling: The Chevrolet Silverado HD’s independent front suspension is lighter than the F-Super Duty 4×4’s solid front axle. This gives the Silverado HD greater capacity to react to the road. This makes both the ride and handling of the Chevy better than the Ford. For an even smoother ride and better handling the Silverado HD’s wheelbase is longer than the F-Super Duty’s.

Brakes and Stopping For better stopping power, the F-Super Duty’s rotors hail in comparison to the Silverado HD’s standard brake rotors. The Silverado HD’s superior rotor size and other factors allow it to stop shorter and faster than the F-Super Duty.

Tires and Wheels: The Silverado HD offers tires with better handling because they have a lower profile that gives a stiffer sidewall than the F-Super Duty’s optional tires.

Interior: The Silverado HD Regular Cab has more front headroom and more front legroom than the F-Super Duty Regular Cab. The Silverado HD Extended Cab also has more front head and leg room well as more rear head and leg room than the F-Super Duty SuperCab. The Silverado HD Crew Cab has more front room than the F-Super Duty SuperCrew. Thus, the Chevy Silverado HD is the more specious and comfortable choice than the Ford Super Duty. The Silverado HD has an all welded cargo box as opposed to the Ford Super Duty’s bolted cargo box. This means that the Silverado HD has a hugely reduced chance of having rust and corrosion throughout its life than the F-Super Duty

Convenience: When the Silverado HD LTZ reverses, both rearview mirrors tilt from their positions giving the driver better rearview vision. The F-Super Duty’s mirrors don’t automatically adjust when backing up. The Silverado HD LTZ has standard automatic dimming rear and side view mirrors that automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them. The F-Super Duty’s side mirrors don’t dim.

Awards: The Silverado was chosen as one of Car and Driver’s “Top Five Trucks” for 4 years! The F-Super Duty has never been a Car and Driver “Top Five Truck” pick. Motor Trend selected the Silverado as their 2011 Truck of the Year. The F-Super Duty has never been chosen as Truck of the Year.

Here at Art Gamblin Motors, we know that the Chevy Silverado HD is simply unparalleled in its territory of heavy duty trucks. So we invite you to come give the Chevrolet Silverado HD a test drive with us here in Enumclaw Washingtonand experience its massive level of power and performance for yourself. You can be sure to find a welcoming pressure-free environment staffed by friendly expert sales associates. Most importantly though, we have been family owned and operated for over 40 years, which is why we have always treated all our customers as family. 2012 Chevrolet Cruze Reliability and Design

2012 Chevrolet Cruze

We here at your Chevrolet Puyallup dealership are committed to offering our customers cars that exceed the expectations of modern standards for quality, reliability and durability. Chevy is proud to present the Chevrolet Cruze, which manages to redefine what quality means for its segment with innovative leaps in superior design. The tough body-on-frame platform of the Chevy Cruze also helps to provide a rigid structure common among heavy-duty trucks and SUVs. The high quality and durability of the Cruze goes right down to its very core with its powerful body-frame-integral design. This means that the frame and body of the Cruze is one strong cohesive unit which also contributes to outstanding handling and a quite comfortable driving experience.

Pivotal areas of the Cruze such as the A and B pillars, side beams and rockers are constructed of high-strength steel and many of the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze’s parts are constructed of hydroformed steel. On top of that, the Cruze uses a cast iron block and aluminum cylinder head as well. These quality materials allow the Cruze to be stronger, more durable, and light. These are just a small sampling of the high-grade materials used throughout the Cruze. The parts used in the Cruze, such as platinum tipped spark plugs and extended-life engine coolant; make room for greater durability in the Cruze and very infrequent maintenance intervals. The electric power assist steering system in the Cruze also eliminates the need for any steering fluid—thus adding to the low level of maintenance required. Many anti-corrosion measures have been taken in the Cruze, such as the use of 2-sided galvanized steel and electro coat primer, which stop corrosion and rust from forming on your car.

Chevrolet also offers the best premium limited warranty with all of its vehicles, including the Cruze. The warranty includes: 5-year/100,000-mile limited protection with no deductable—which includes courtesy transportation and roadside assistance; and 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper coverage; all of which is fully transferable. When you combine the excellent design and quality materials used to build the Cruze, with Chevrolet’s incredible warranty program—you are given with the highest quality, most durable and reliable vehicle in its segment by leaps and bounds.

2012 Chevrolet Cruze Performance and Economy

2012 Chevrolet Cruze Production

Here at your Bonney lake Chevrolet Dealer, we are proud to present the brand new 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. We know that power, performance and efficiency of a vehicle are all key considerations for customers, which is why this vehicle strikes a perfect balance between all three of these standard requirements. Essentially it can be described as versatile. The Cruze offers two different powerful ECOTEC engines that use constant variable valve timing systems that result in a promising high performance. While the Cruze is indeed one of the largest cars in its class it manages to maintain the best-in-class fuel economy! The standard LS Cruze has the 1.8L DOHC 4-cylinder engine. This commanding and efficient 138 horsepower engine grants 90% of its total torque over a broad spectrum from 2200-6200 rmp. This means that the Cruze grants excellent responsiveness and performance at any speed. All and all the Chevy Cruze Reliability is astronomical.

The ECOTEC 1.4L DOHC turbocharged 4-cylinder engine comes standard on Cruze LT, Eco and LTZ. This engine gives you the efficiency of a small displacement engine and the power of the turbocharger, giving the Cruze the power usually reserved for much larger, less efficient vehicles. The turbocharger is integrated into the exhaust manifold, which makes its full power available without any delay. This 1.4L ECOTEC engine, while powerful and high performing, is also one of the most fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engines in the world! A 6-speed manual transmission is standard with the LS, LT and Eco Cruze. The expertly engineered synchronizers in this transmission make shifting easy and smooth, while offering multiple overdrive gears.

The 6T40 6-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission is standard on the 2012 Cruze LTZ and is available in LS, LT and Eco Cruze as well. This automatic transmission is smooth and capable by itself and also has Driver Shift Control that allows the driver to use tap up and tap down manual shifting at will (paddle shifters). Advanced adaptive shift controls in the transmission intelligently employ lower gears when slowing down or coasting on an incline. While all models of the Chevy Cruze achieve have excellent fuel economy, the Cruze Eco maximizes fuel economy to the highest degree. This has made the Cruze Eco the most fuel-efficient gasoline-powered car in theUnited States with 42 miles per gallon on the highway. This is due to incredible aerodynamic design that offers a very low drag coefficient of 0.29; race car inspired underbody panels and electronically controlled air shutters to further increase aerodynamic efficiency. These are just a few examples of the many innovative features that allow the Cruze Eco to get such outstanding gas mileage, while still offering great power and performance.

Art Gamblin Motors Open House

Art Gamblin Motors Open House In Celebration Of The Completed Remodel

Enumclaw, Washington, May 21 2012, Art Gamblin Motors, a family owned and operated Chevrolet and Buick dealer in Enumclaw Washington since 1969, will be having an open house this Friday and Saturday May 25th and 26th at 1047 Roosevelt Avenue East. The open house is being held in celebration of a 6-month long remodel that has redesigned Art Gamblin Motor’s two locations. Among the many features the remodel has delivered are a new showroom and a covered drive in area for auto repair customers.

Alan Gamblin, the President of Art Gamblin Motors had this say about the new remodel: “Our new look is better than I ever imagined.  You drive by and see our blue Chevrolet tower and say WOW!  My favorite addition is our new Service Department entrance.  With Enumclaw’s rain and wind you can now drive inside to get your maintenance and repair needs taken care of.  This took longer than I expected but it was really worth it for us and our customers.”  Art Gamblin Motors invites everyone to the open house to enjoy hot dogs, apple pie and a tour of the remodeled facility.
