At Art Gamblin Motors we are confident that you will find a 2012 Chevrolet Colorado that meets your precise mid-size truck needs and even exceeds your expectations. This is because the excellent ride and handling—like every other aspect of the Colorado—is hugely versatile with a wide range of choices specially designed to meet your precise needs. The Chevy Colorado comes in three distinct suspension systems designed to meet particular needs. At the core of each suspension system, however, is the same great core features that provide the foundation for the Colorado’s superb ride and handling. To begin, the Colorado is manufactured with a strong body-on-frame design that is fully boxed. This results in a solid and highly tough platform for the Colorado that forms the foundation for its excellent suspension. The Colorado allows for excellent steering and control with its power-assisted rack-and-pinion system. Next, the Colorado’s standard 4-wheel ABS brakes provide great breaking and control along with the standard StabiliTrak Stability Control System. The StabiliTrak system automatically engages the Colorado’s braking and traction control systems to correct any over or under steering. The G80 automatic rear locking differential is available on the Colorado and offers unparalleled traction control that prevents slipping. And the Colorado’s tuned body mounts greatly reduce ride noise. Every suspension system for the Colorado also includes: an independent front suspension and a rear solid live axel. The three specific suspension options for the Colorado are the Z85, Z71 and ZQ8 suspensions. The Z85 suspension is standard base-level suspension system offers great all-around handling suitable for a wide variety of applications. The Z71 suspension system includes specifically-valved shocks, front torsion bars, urethane jounce bumpers and raises the Colorado’s ride height by one inch. This suspension system is a time-tested excellent set-up for off-road use. The final suspension system is the ZQ8 Sports Suspension. It is significantly stiffer than the other suspensions and also has a lower ride height. This allows the ZQ8 to deliver more precise handling. The available customization options for the Colorado are immense. That’s why we at Art Gamblin Motors, your Kent Car Dealer, are confident that you will find the Colorado that completely meets and even exceeds your performance and handling needs. 2012 Dodge Charger vs 2012 Chevrolet Impala
At your Seattle Chevrolet Dealer we recognize that the Chevy Impala is a segmentdefining vehicle that is unsurpassed in performance, quality andefficiency within its segment. The Dodge Charger just can’t compete withthe Impala on any level. The Impala has greater power, performance, handling, safety and functionality. Below is a short sampling of some ofthe ways in which the Chevrolet Impala outperforms the Dodge Charger:
Warranty: Chevrolet’s powertrain warranty comes with free roadside assistance a feature not available with the Charger’s warranty. The Impala’s corrosion warranty is also 1 year longer than the Charger’s. Furthermore, there are over 40% more Chevrolet dealers than Dodge dealers, which means that it’s much easier to get your Impala serviced under warranty than it is to get a Charger serviced.
Engine: The Impala’s 3.6L DOHC V6 produces 8 more horsepower than the Charger’s standard engine. At the same time, the Impala’s engine is also more efficient than the Charger’ engine.
Interior: The Impala offers optional seating for up to six passengers while the Charger can only carry a maximum of five passengers. The Impala also has more passenger volume than the Charger allowing for a more comfortable ride for everyone in the car. The Impala also offers a much more trunk space than the Charger with more than 3 cubic feet of extra storage capacity.
The Chevrolet Impala outsold the Dodge Charger by nearly three to one last year and it did so for good reason. At Art Gamblin Motors, we know that the Chevy Impala simply dominates over the Dodge Charger and every other car in its segment. So we invite you to come test drive a new Chevrolet Impala with us here in Enumclaw Washington and experience the Impala’s high level of power, performance and efficiency for yourself. 2012 Chevrolet Cruze Power And Performance
At Art Gamblin Motors we know that the power, performance and efficiency of a vehicle are all key considerations for customers. That is why we are so pleased to present the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, which strikes a perfect balance between all three of these concerns. The Cruze offers two different powerful ECOTEC engines that use constant variable valve timing systems that insure high performance. While the Cruze is indeed one of the largest cars in its class it also has the best-in-class fuel economy! The standard LS Cruze has the 1.8L DOHC 4-cylinder engine. This powerful and efficient 138 horsepower engine grants 90% of its total torque over a broad spectrum from 2200-6200 rmp. This means that the Cruze grants excellent responsiveness and performance at any speed.
The ECOTEC 1.4L DOHC turbocharged 4-cylinder engine is standard on Cruze LT, Eco and LTZ. This engine gives you the excellent efficiency of a small displacement engine and the impressive power of the turbocharger, giving the Cruze the power usually reserved for much larger, less efficient vehicles. The turbocharger is integrated into the exhaust manifold, which makes its full power available without any delay. This 1.4L ECOTEC engine, while powerful and high performing, is also one of the most fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engines in the world! A 6-speed manual transmission is standard with the LS, LT and Eco Cruze. The expertly engineered synchronizers in this transmission make shifting easy and smooth, while offering multiple overdrive gears.
The 6T40 6-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission is standard on the Cruze LTZ and is available in LS, LT and Eco Cruze as well. This automatic transmission is smooth and capable by itself and also has Driver Shift Control that allows the driver to use tap up and tap down manual shifting at will. Advanced adaptive shift controls in the transmission intelligently employ lower gears when slowing down or coasting on an incline. While all models of the Chevy Cruze achieve excellent fuel economy, the Cruze Eco maximizes fuel economy to the highest degree. This has made the Cruze Eco the most fuel-efficient gasoline-powered car in the United States with 42 miles per gallon on the highway. This is due to incredible aerodynamic design that offers a very low drag coefficient of 0.29; race car inspired underbody panels and electronically controlled air shutters to further increase aerodynamic efficiency. These are just a few examples of the many innovative features that allow the Cruze Eco to get such outstanding gas mileage, while still offering great power and performance.
Come test drive the revolutionary Chevrolet Cruze with us here at Art Gamblin Motors in Enumclaw Washington. 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 vs 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche
At your Sumner Chevrolet Dealership we recognize that the Chevy Avalanche is a segment defining vehicle that is unsurpassed in its utility, versatility and performance in its segment. To be frank, the Ram 1500 just plain can’t compete with the Avalanche in any scenario. The Avalanche has greater power, performance, handling, safety and functionality. Below is a short sampling of some of the ways, in which the Chevrolet Avalanche makes the Ram 1500 look like an antique:
Safety: For increased safety, the front shoulder belts of the Chevrolet Avalanche are height-adjustable, and the rear seats have child car seat anchors. The Ram 1500 has only front height-adjustable seat belts and child safety anchors. At Chevrolet we recognize how the safety features play such a large role in your choice of vehicle. The Avalanche’s standard pretensioning seatbelts sense rear collisions and tighten the front seatbelts accordingly to protect passengers from injuries including whiplash. The 1500 doesn’t offer a whiplash protection system.
The Avalanche also has standard daytime running lamps that increase its visibility to other drivers. The Ram 1500 doesn’t have daytime running lights. The Avalanche also has OnStaravailable, which uses GPS and cellular systems to remotely unlock your doors if you lock your keys in, track down your vehicle if it’s stolen and even send emergency personnel to the scene if there is a collision. The Ram 1500 doesn’t offer anything comparable to OnStar. And these are just a few of the ways in which the Avalanche is superior to the Ram in safety.
Warranty: There are over 40 percent more Chevrolet dealers than there are Ram dealers—making it much easier to get service under the Avalanche’s Chevrolet warranty.
Power and Performance: The Avalanche’s Vortec 5.3L V8 engine produces 105 more horsepower Ram 1500’s standard 3.7L V6! With a minimum tow capacity that is 1,550 pounds higher than the Ram’s, it hails in comparison to the Avalanche! The Avalanche’s Vortec engine is also equipped with FlexFuel which allows it to run on emissions reducing E85 fuel. Active Fuel Management is also standard. Both the sequential fuel injection system and the Active fuel management system allow the Avalanche to achieve excellent fuel economy and efficiency. The Ram 1500 offers nothing comparable to these features. Moreover, the Avalanche has 5.5 more gallons of fuel capacity than the standard Ram 1500. This allows the Avalanche a greater maximum driving range than the 1500.
The Avalanche has an automatic transmission that offers manual control with tap-up tap-down shifting. This means that drivers get the convenience of an automatic transmission, while also have the control of a manual transmission without worrying about a clutch—giving you the best of both worlds and strengthening your driving experience! The Ram fails to offer a transmission that allows driver control of the gears. Ultimately, the Avalanche simply offers more power, performance, efficiency and utility standard than the Ram 1500.
Suspension and Handling: The front and rear suspension of the Avalanche use coil springs for a smoother ride, more responsive handling and precise control than the 1500, which uses inferior leaf springs in the rear. The Avalanche also has an available driver controlled suspension system. The 1500’s suspension doesn’t offer any kind of driver adjustable shock absorbers. For superior handling the track on the Avalanche is wider than the 1500’s. The Avalanche’s engine vibration is almost nonexistent in the cab because it has liquid-filled engine mounts. The 1500 still uses inferior conventional solid rubber engine mounts. The Avalanche offers car-like ride and handling, while the Ram has unresponsive control and an all around rough ride.
At Art Gamblin Motors, we know that the Chevy Avalanche simply dominates over the Ram 1500. So we invite you to come test drive a new Chevrolet Avalanche with us here in Enumclaw Washington and experience the Avalanche’s high level of power and performance for yourself. You will surely appreciate our welcoming pressure-free environment staffed by friendly expert sales associates. Most importantly though, we have been family owned and operated for over 40 years, which is why we have always treated all our customers as family. Come and see why Art Gamblin Motors is a superior place to buy a vehicle, and you will understand why we are the top online rated Chevrolet dealer in the state!
2012 Chevrolet Volt Ride & Handling
All of us at Art Gamblin Motors are energized about the Chevrolet Volt’s excellent electric efficiency and performance, but we are also very impressed with the Volt’s delightful to drive experience and secure handling. The Volt has been designed with a Body Frame Integral made of high grade steel that combines the body and frame of the Volt into one cohesive unit. This makes the Volt stiff, allowing engineers to more easily fine-tune the entire car. The result is the tight-handling Chevrolet Volt. The Volt has an independent front suspension made of many high quality parts like MacPherson brand struts and weight optimized forged aluminum. The rear suspension of the Volt is specifically designed to be light weight and high performing. In fact the rear suspension of the Sonic weighs 10% less than commonly used traditional torsion beam suspensions. The result is the Volts fast, responsive performance and drivability.
The power steering on the Volt runs on the car’s 12V system, which maximizes horsepower, performance and efficiency. The Volt uses 4-wheel ABS disk breaks making for precise and responsive braking even in an emergency. The Volt also harnesses braking power with its electro-hydraulic regenerative brake system—transferring energy to the brakes into the Volt’s battery. The Volt comes standard with forged aluminum wheels made with a forged and flow-form process used in making racing wheels. The Volt is equipped standard with the StabiliTrack Stability Control System, which automatically engage the Volt’s traction and braking systems if the vehicle does not exactly follow the drivers intended path. The Volt also uses a traction control system that prevents wheel spin.
All of the above factors are just a sampling of the features that make the handling and drive experience of the Volt Exceptional. Come test drive a new Chevrolet Volt today at Art Gamblin Motors and experience the Chevy Volt’s superior handling for yourself. We know you will welcome our pressure-free environment staffed by expert sales associates. Most of all, you will love the way we treat all of our customers like family—something we have been doing as a family owned and operated business for over 40 years. Jay Leno Hits 10K!
Jay Leno has had a very outstanding career with many achivements and now he can add another one to his list. He has recently hit the 10K mile mark on his Chevrolet Volt without even refilling his vehicle with gas once. Thats pretty incredible if you ask me. Leno, quoted in The New York Times “Wheels” blog, said he took delivery of his Chevrolet Volt last December with a full 9.3 gallon tank, and the tank is still more than half-full. To commemorate owners’ achievements, Chevrolet is planning on giving them a “10,000 Electric Mile” badge.
“Volt owners are an extremely passionate and enthusiastic group. They carry pictures of their car, refer to themselves by their VIN number and freely talk about their ownership experience with anyone who will ask,” Chris Perry, vice president of Global Chevrolet Marketing, said. “The 10,000 Electric Mile badge not only recognizes their achievement, but gives another point to brag about with anyone interested in learning more about the Chevrolet Volt.”Based on a recent survey by Chevrolet, Volt owners fill up once a month on average, and travel more than 900 miles between fuel fill-ups. EPA estimates for the car are 94 miles per gallon equivalent when running in electric mode, and 35 mpg city and 40 highway in range-extended mode. For all you locals in the Enumclaw area feel free to come check out our Chevrolet Volt. We are a Chevrolet Volt Seattle Dealer.
Enumclaw Cross Country
‘Fabulous!’ is how the 2011 Enumclaw Cross Country teams trip to state was described by head coach Jeff Jacobson. However on there adventure down to Pasco they rented two vehicles from Gamblin Motors (a Van and a Traverse). Most people do not know that Art Gamblin Motors has a Rental Department.
Jacobson says that he ‘loves renting cars from Gamblin because the vehicles are always clean, good shape and ready to roll.’ The vehicles were not the only thing ready to roll as the girls ended up finishing 13th in whole sate ofWashington and the guys finishing in the middle of the pack of 3A SPSL. Another statement from Jacobson was ‘there was enough room for everybody.’ That is quite a compliment seeing they had 8 girls, 2 boys and 2 coaches! On a last note he also when it comes time to rent a car for state again he would choose a Gamblin Motors Chevy!
