The Colorado Extended Cab Pickup has 2.3 inches more front legroom, 3 inches more rear headroom and 4.9 inches more rear hip room than the Tacoma Access Cab. The Colorado Crew Cab Pickup has 2.3 inches more front legroom and 2.1 inches more rear legroom than the Tacoma Double Cab. The Colorado’s cargo box is larger than the Tacoma’s in almost every dimension. To prevent tailgate loss and help secure heavier cargo from theft, the Colorado offers an optional tailgate lock cylinder. The Tacoma doesn’t offer a tailgate lock.
